Joining the team

If you’ve got to this point and you’re thinking, this could be for me, then you’ve got something you could offer to our team!

We believe our team will be stronger if we continue to have a team that’s made up of people who have a greater range of backgrounds, life experiences and knowledge. This leads us to have wider discussions and challenges each of us from different perspectives, so we make robust decisions.

There are two ways you can get involved:

• Join our Trustee Talent Pool (TTP): as a TTP member you’re equally valuable to the team, contributing at meetings, whilst enjoying the same training and support given to the Trustee Directors (TDs). As a TTP member you also get the opportunity to have some real-life experience before deciding if you want to be a Member Nominated Director (MND).
• We are also looking for two individuals to join us as MNDs. You would join the team as a fully-fledged Trustee Director.

Time commitment

Both options will require a time commitment on your part:

• A TTP member will need to set aside around 15 days a year.
• MNDs will be closer to 25 days a year.

To recognise the very valuable contribution and the time commitment you’ll be making, there is a recognition payment for both roles and your expenses and travel costs will also be reimbursed.
