Our beliefs

Our commitment to continue to build an inclusive and diverse team

Last year we adopted an Inclusion and Diversity policy which reflects our approach and belief. This is because for our team, Inclusion and Diversity is embedded into everything we do. We believe that embracing all aspects of diversity leads to a fairer and more relevant Trustee Board, that reflects today’s society.

We’re committed to a safe, open and transparent culture of discussion; where all participants feel able to contribute to their maximum potential. This ensures that diverse perspectives resulting from a range of experiences are considered before decisions are made.

We provide an environment where constructive problem solving skills are valued as much as traditional Trustee skill sets and where the experience that comes from a varied set of life experiences is fully utilised.

What this means in practice

We give equal consideration to everyone and will remove barriers for anyone to join our team. We see the benefit that diversity brings to our Trustee team and always aim to be inclusive to encourage and build on our diversity.

As a flexible and inclusive team, we will review and modify working practices, to ensure that no one is prevented from becoming, or continuing to act, as a Trustee Director (TD) or Trustee Talent Pool (TTP) member.
